Aleppo Pepper
Aleppo Pepper (Capsicum annuum var. acuminatum) is one of the signature spices of Middle Eastern cuisine, known for its rich aroma, mildly sweet flavor, and moderate heat. Traditionally cultivated in Syria’s Aleppo region, this unique pepper variety is now also grown with high quality in Turkey’s Southeastern Anatolia region.
At Tuna Spice, our Aleppo Pepper is sun-dried, coarsely crushed, slightly oiled, and mixed with salt to preserve its natural character and rich aroma.
